This ledger tracks both business and personal financial transactions of Dr. William Pettit during 1851-1852. Pettit was well known not only as a physician but as treasurer and co-founder of the "Beverly and Mount Holly Turnpike or Plank-Road Company."

A hotel register covering 1830-1835 from the Upper Tavern on Main Street in Vincentown, N.J. Run by proprietor Edward T. Butterworth, the register lists the guests' names, charges accrued, and means of payment for goods and services rendered.

An account book covering the carpentry business of Robert L. Nixon over a four year period. It lists the costs, materials, work performed and clients, many of whom appear in the Burlington County Directory for 1887.
